Our Brisbane clinic offers patients a relaxed and comfortable environment for varicose and spider vein treatment. With a skilled and experienced team of professionals you can rest assured knowing that your legs are in good hands.
At our Brisbane clinic we look after patients from all over Queensland and some from northern NWS as well. The aim of our clinic is to treat and reduce the medical condition of your legs and veins. By resolving the medical condition of varicose veins this also provides an excellent cosmetic result for our patients.
The Varicose Vein Clinic is committed to our patient’s wellbeing and will ensure that every possible step is taken to make you feel comfortable and relaxed throughout your treatment.
With the Christmas heat approaching, the weather calls for swimmers and shorts, which can be uncomfortable for those suffering from varicose veins. Our treatments help target your unwanted veins and work towards achieving better overall health and aesthetically pleasing legs. At The Varicose Vein Clinic we offer three main treatments and after we have assessed your veins we will determine the most appropriate treatment for you.
Sclerotherapy– a small amount of sclerosing solution is injected into the unwanted leg veins. This solution causes the vein’s lining to become irritated and subsequently collaps, sticking together the walls of the vein. Once redundant, the vein becomes gradually reabsorbed by the body, fading from view over a period of weeks.
Ultrasound Guided Sclerotherapy – UGS is a non-surgical procedure which utilises ultrasound imaging as the most accurate way of locating incompetent underlying veins, which cause the more visible varicose veins.
Endovenous laser ablation- this technique involves inserting a laser fibre in to the incompetent (failed) vein and using the light energy to ‘heat seal’ the vein. There is no cutting, no hospital admission, no general anaesthetic and you can be back at work the next day.
Our treatment prices are different deepening on the treatment used, how many times it’s used and the severity of the condition. During your consolation we will discuss treatment prices and payment options to suit your needs. At The Varicose Vein Clinic we use the ‘Mac Credit’ service to help provide payment plans for your much needed treatment.
This service provides specific payment plans for over 400 cosmetic and medical practices in Australia and benefits include:
